The Official TALON Fall Classic thread - PICTURE LINK

The TALON Fall Classic for 2005 will be held at the Temple Academy Dragway (http://www.templeacademy.com/) on December 3, 2005. Rainout date is December 10.

    $8 (Spectators)
    $20 (T&T only)
    $35 (Race fee includes T&T)
Bracket Racing (flexible dial-in / set your own dial-in on every run)
$10 buy-back after first round loss only (optional for all racers)

Format is single elimination bracket racing with awards to be given out as follows:

    Awards for (during competition only):
    Lowest ET
    Best Reaction time
    Closest to Dial-in

    Awards for (during competition only):
    1st Place
    2nd Place
    Semifinalist (2)

I will be visiting the Temple Academy Dragway on November 5, to confirm the details and also will be making a few passes to address safety concerns previously expressed by club members (specifically the run-off area).

Here's hoping you guys have a great event. I would be there, but seeing that it's twice as far from me to Temple as it was Hallsville, looks like I'm out this year. I'd love to come, just can't afford to make two 900+ mile round trips in less than 3 months.

Yeah and I'm going to run 118 octane, and 23 lbs of boost and beat him on ET on a stock motor.

I'll be there. I also volunter as a go'fer or in any other capacity to help where ever needed.
Thanks Michael and Mark for your Dial-in time advice and other pointers on Sunday at Redline.
The truck did it's job almost flawlessly, but I lost in the third round to the eventual winner of the Super Class because of a poor .2-second reaction time.

Great job, you went farther than both of us.

I think I need to be out of the Pro class, truck ran 7.37 on a 7.35 dial and I lost with a .600 light.
